3D printing as a marketing tool, this is the title of a workshop to be held on November 23 in UPrint 3D, a specialized 3D printer at Palacky University in Olomouc. Interested people can look forward to 3D prints of plastic, paper, metal, unconventional 3D production ideas, or 3D printing on the spot.
“At the event, you’ll learn about 3D world attractions, what technologies are used for 3D printing, news from 3D materials. Iwill mention at least kevlar, nylon, onyx or titanium with which we work. We will also focus on how 3D printing is used in the startup world and in companies how to use it effectively in marketing. Take a look at the product creation cap with 3D printing. We will also introduce the process of prototyping and how 3D printing can be used in the Proof-of-Concept projects of universities, “says organizer Filip Auinger of the UP Science Park. “Last but not least, we look directly at the printers, participants will see 3D printing in real terms,” he adds.
“3D printing has a wide use. Companies often do not even know what options they offer and what benefits they have for small-scale production. In the past, we have been printing metal, for example, radiator or ball bearing components. For startups, a plastic bottle for runners where we took part in prototype development. The media were informed about the print of the seal of Bouzov Castle. We also worked on architectural models of paper or plastic cats for cats, “describes Hana Kubickova 3D print technology from UPrint 3D. “Practical are also prints of teeth or spine for the Faculty of Medicine, where students can learn real-world models, the use of our press across the university is enormous,” she says.
The workshop takes place under the UP Business Camp conference. Register for a workshop at VTP UP website.
