Team of technology transfer of the Palacký University
The project gives the Palacký University the opportunity to raise the awareness of the commercialization among researchers and to increase the quality of the technology transfer services - by setting processes and communicating technology transfer staff, training them, educating them and introducing a common approach for promoting science and research results to the application sphere. The result will be a better efficiency of the use of R & D results.

STP UP (VTP UP): Expansion of specialized workplaces
The subject of the project is the extension of the equipment of existing specialized workplaces of STP UP: UPrint 3D - 3D print workplace and Nuclear analytical methods workplace. Thanks to the implementation of the project, the workplace will be able to expand the offer and quality of the services offered.

Progressive Hydraulic Design of Extreme Power Pumps for "Water-Dry"
The aim of the project is to increase the hydraulic performance of pumps with extreme power as a decisive parameter of market competitiveness. This goal will be achieved by developing a progressive hydraulic design process based on computer shape optimization of hydraulic pump parts with application of metallic 3D printing technology.

Decontamination of injured persons
The subject of the project is to create two separate methodologies for the procedures of health workers and units of the integrated rescue system (especially the Czech Fire Brigade) in carrying out the decontamination of the injured persons at the intervention site and at the entry points of the hospitals.

Effective transfer of knowledge of Palacký University in Olomouc into practice
The aim of the project is to support and improve effectiveness of the transfer of new science and research outputs of Palacký University in Olomouc, while ensuring more efficient use of public funds and increasing their rate of return. The primary objective is to verify the application potential of the new and prospective results of the university, obtained from scientific and research activities before their possible use in practice (the so-called proof-of-concept stage), with emphasis on their future introduction into practice. This stage should culminate in concrete proposals for new substantially improved products, processes or services, in particular in the form of patents and solutions, protected under industrial legal protection.

On the basis of the application from 16 February 2016, the Palacký University in Olomouc can use the funds of the Agency for Entrepreneurship Innovation within the framework of the challenge "INNOVATION - Project for the Protection of Industrial Property Rights". The aim of the program is to strengthen the innovative performance of institutions and increase their competitiveness through more effective protection of intellectual property, especially in foreign markets, as well as increasing the use of IPR tools not only among small and medium-sized enterprises but also in public research institutions and universities. From when can I draw funds?

From the date of API Application for Industrial Law, but no later than December 31, 2020.
Form and amount of aid per application:
-
subsidy for the project is provided in minimum amount of 40 000 CZK. In the de minimis aid scheme;

the rate of aid for UPOL is 50% of the total eligible expenditures;
-
the minimum cost of the Application is 80 000 CZK without VAT.
For what can you get support (supported activities):
To ensure the protection of proprietary property owned by UPOL in the Czech Republic and abroad in the form of:

inventions / patents;

trademarks;
-
utility patterns;

industrial designs.
What expenditure can be supported (eligible expenditure):

authorized representative services;

administrative fees (not maintenance fees);
Eligible expenditure is not:

VAT if the recipient is a VAT payer;

Expenditure incurred or paid prior to the filing date of the Application;

Any costs, if the application was filed prior to the Application date;

Sanctions and penalties.
