History
The Science and Technology Park of Palacky University in Olomouc was founded in 2000 as the Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer of UP. Its first building was reconstructed and renovated by Palackż University in Olomouc with the financial assistance of the National Government of the Czech Republic, through grant support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry for Regional Development , as well as funds from the pilot project of the PHARE program.
The construction of the second building - the Business Incubator has been financed from PHARE funds with financial support from the City of Olomouc and Palacky University. Office equipment and the early activities of the Business Incubator were financed by the Operational Program: Industry and Innovation and co-financed by the Regional Office of the Olomouc region and Palacky University in Olomouc. Operating costs are financed by Palacky University in Olomouc.
